New Moderator Announcement

Dear Erastophereans,

I am pleased to announce your brand new Eratosphere moderator -- here's to a huge welcome to Martin Roček (who actually, never left)! He's now the moderator for the Translation forum.

You already know quite a bit about Martin from his active participation at the Sphere all these years, and some of you may even know that:

~~~~~~~~~~
Martin Roček researches and teaches physics at Stony Brook University, with a particular interest in supersymmetry and string theory. He writes poems (a few published in the Raintown Review, Per Contra, Soundzine) and translates Czech poems and songs into English.
~~~~~~~~~~

Please join me in giving a hearty Eratosphere welcome to Martin!

Cheers,

...Alex

Hurrah, Martin! This is the best news I've had all day. I know we're supposed to congratulate the new moderator, but I'd like to turn that around and congratulate the forum, for getting such a great moderator. Or maybe I should just say: congrats to all!

Best,

Bill

A fine choice--Martin has been a thoughtful and civil contributor for a long time.
