Swinburne's "Nephelidia" in anapestic octameter is the longest metrical line I've read in English. But I would like to know if there are longer.

Another way that "Nephelidia" may be singular: has anyone ever written a better self-parody (on purpose)? "Nephelidia" is as unreadable as the rest of Swinburne, but a lot more fun.
