Please Read!
Melissa Balmain has already posted the news about the latest issue of Light, over on the Accomplished Members thread. But now she says that the new issue has had an overwhelming response from readers and is just on the verge of going viral. So please, read, like, and share the new issue, and help put light verse over the top! (www.lightpoetrymagazine.com)

How can we tell when something has gone viral? Are there specific numbers or percentages? Is there a commission in Geneva (or possibly Silicon Valley, in this case) which issues a formal certificate? Are there different criteria for different elements of society - would nude photos of a movie star, or a politician, for example, have the same criteria for virality as a collection of humorous poetry? How can I monitor this so that it is my "hit" (I've already looked at it several times, but I assume the rules allow multiple hits) which puts Melissa over the top and into the Viral Hall of Fame? I try to keep up with this stuff, but it isn't easy.

I just liked it. Why not, it's likable enough. But I'm not sure if I liked the issue or the poem of the week.

Many thanks! I, like, really like that you liked us...
We haven't quite hit viral-- but poems that catch fire'll help the whole thing spiral. |
