my first collection & title poem online at WLT
I'm pleased to say that my first full-length collection of poems, titled Not Elegy, But Eros, will be published by NYQ Books in the fall. The book has many elegies, including public elegies for victims of violence, and the title poem, which just appeared online at World Literature Today, is one of them. Here's the link. A few people might recall hearing me read the poem at one of the participant readings at Poetry by the Sea a few weeks ago.
Thanks, Nausheen |
Congratulations, Nausheen! That's a vivid poem, and those are some very impressive pub credits. All success to the book.

That's a fine poem, Nausheen. The title resonates all the more after reading the poem. Looking forward to reading the collection.

Maryann, Kyle, Nemo, and Gail -- thanks for reading and for the kind words!
Gail -- The editor picked that image, and I think it pairs well with the poem. I wasn't familiar with the sculptor, but I looked him up and found his work really intriguing. Thanks, Nausheen |
Congratulations! I very much look forward to the collection.
