Almost New Moderator Announcement
Dear Eratosphereans,
They're already quite popular and quite active moderating here, and now they're adding a new quill to their Sphere moderating hats--that of co-moderators for the Metrical Forum. And they are Martin Rocek, who will still be moderating the Translation forum; and E. Shaun Russell, who also continues to moderate the Deep End forum! ~~~~~~~~~~ Martin Roček researches and teaches physics at Stony Brook University, with a particular interest in supersymmetry and string theory. He writes poems (a few published in the Raintown Review, Per Contra, Soundzine) and translates Czech poems and songs into English. ~~~~~~~~~~ E. Shaun Russell is a poet and long-time member of Eratosphere whose poems have appeared in over thirty journals and anthologies, and have been nominated for two Pushcart Prize awards. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in English at the Ohio State University, where he focuses on the readership and reception history of Renaissance poetry. He currently makes his home in Columbus with his girlfriend, Noa. ~~~~~~~~~~ Please join me to welcome Shaun and Martin to Eratosphere … even if they never really left! Cheers, ...Alex |
Congratulations on the new hat, gentlemen! I'm sure you'll wear it well.
|
Thanks, Alex! Happy to put on another mod hat.

We're well blessed with Shaun and Martin: two great poets, great Mods, and very clever blokes too, in their individual fields!
(I particularly love symmetry, and now I learn that there's supersymmetry - wow! :)) Jayne |
Worthy extended mods indeed.
Welcome guys. |
Congrats Martin, Shaun.
|
Congrats to both!

Congratulations ! Didn't see the thread at first. Looking forward to filling up your PM's with harsh notes. Just kidding. Congrat's again

Thanks all--and please don't get too upset when I go missing now and then, when other obligations overwhelm me.
