I wish I could see this also.

What an achievement, Aaron, bringing this ancient play still pulsing into our time. Kudos. Like John, I wish I could go to a live performance of it.

Fantastic, Aaron!! Huge congrats!

Thank you, all. Yes, I hope SITI revives the show and we take it on a tour!

John Isbell 01-08-2019 02:00 PM

A Bacchae tour? That's how the whole problem started with Pentheus, isn't it?

Cheers,
John

Very good--Dionysus and his Maenads tour the East, then Greece (then America, I hope).

Aaron, we have our similarities - which cause our differences - but a cat can look at a king (and vice versa), and when it comes to NYC, I want a couple of tickets, somehow, even if I have to pay for them! I love the Getty Villa almost as much as I love Pindar, and almost as much as I love the Parthenon and Phaistos and Fiskardo when its flowers are blooming. Good Luck! I assume Epidauros is a stop.

Thank you, Allen. I hope we will revive the show in NYC, so it will be right there for you.
