Raintown on Hiatus
 

Hi all,

I just learned that the Raintown Review is now on hiatus. I didn't see this announced elsewhere, so I thought I'd post it.

Andrew, how did you learn that it was on hiatus? I just looked at the journal's website and at Duotrope, and neither of them said it was.

If a poem of yours has already been accepted for an upcoming issue, that issue is in production and is expected to be mailed in the month of February 2019.

If you are contacting us about a recent unanswered submission, please be advised we are not currently reading submissions. Consider your submission withdrawn and please feel welcome to send your poems elsewhere.

Yeah, I think so. It's just really disappointing.

Wish I were more surprised. I haven't been involved in said journal's editing since 2016, so my guess is as good as anybody's as to what's going on.

Yeah, I know it's hard to run a print journal, but it does suck that we've lost another print "formal friendly" one.

Well, funny you should mention that. I contacted Anna, and... I am the next editor. Watch this space.
