The last time I checked (maybe 3 months ago?) Unsplendid was still online, though a new one hadn't been put up in a long while. Today, it seems like it's gone.

Anyone know anything?

Definitely not working for me -- I have tried multiple times on three different browsers, and I am not having the same problem with any others sites as of yet.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Aha! I figured it out. I can't access it through VPN. Weird. Not the first time that's happened, but it has been extremely rare. OK. Crisis averted.

I sent them some stuff via Submittable last year. After four months, they had not even opened the submission. I sent them a status query by email, as their guidelines said to do so after three months, and they never responded. I later withdrew my submission.

Hence the name ... ?

Bob -- I remembered the thread on them being inactive, the site was still up. I was just surprised when I couldn't get to the site, but the mystery is solved as noted above.

John -- I suppose that's a fair jab related to their lack of response to Bob, but when active it was a great venue.

Hi David, yes, Bob's experience sounds unsplendid. I limit my comment to that.
