The Raintown Review
The latest issue of The Raintown Review is out, the last one to be edited by Anna M. Evans. It features work by many current and former Spherians, including Vera Ignatowitsch, David Landrum, Janet Kenny, Maryann Corbett, Rick Mullin, Quincy Lehr, Jean Kreiling, and me. My apologies to any Spherians I have missed.

Sounds outstanding!

Congrats!
I hope we will be seeing Anna Evans' poetry here and there. Ed |
Ed,
Anna has a knockout poem in the upcoming (July) issue of Better Than Starbucks. Keep an eye out for it. Cathy |
To answer a question that some of you may be wondering, the editorial team (myself, assistant editor Luke Bauerlein, and intern Eleanor Harvey) are currently catching up on the slush pile. With the academic year over, things should speed up.
Per this current issue, it had been a very long time (2007? 2008?) since I had been in the Raintown as a contributor rather than in an editorial capacity--thanks to Anna for taking the poem and letting me take the reins. |
Congrats, all, and I’m glad the RR is still alive!
|
Thank you, Susan.
I had no idea. Contributor copies do not always come to Canada. Actually a number of things never show up in Canada, including poetry books and journals. Congratulations to all. Best, Vera |
