Rattle's Ekphrastic Challenge
Just to say that my poem, 'Ink Blots', is up at Rattle today. It was the artist's choice in Rattle's monthly Ekphrastic Challenge. I posted it in Non-Met recently, so thanks again to all who commented. The prize was $50, which is the most I've been paid for a poem, so that was a nice bonus. I'll make sure to spend it unwisely.

Congrats, Matt! I enjoyed that poem very much.

Congratulations, Matt! I appreciate everything from epithets like ‘cradled by the blue’, ‘ blubbered against the cold,’ and ‘basement-womb’ to the story rich with imagination.
