I have been invited to a launch but work will have started again then, more's the pity.

I would have been invited to a Paris launch because it's a UniKent Paris/Canterbury collaboration (that would have thrilled me to the bone) but Covid got in the way (and if it hadn't got in the way work would have done, so it's a small mercy, really).
