You’ve given the spider a voice to be heard and respected,
and Little Boy Blues is a genre that’s long been neglected.
Your daring revival of “gay,” though, is quite unexpected.

I'm all about that 1890s literary aesthetic. Or perhaps it's simply a particularly flamboyant will-o-the-wisp ;)

I’ve been warned that “gay” in your sense is archaic, but I’d personally like it to be available in both senses, so you and the Dirigible Balloon have my support.
