Translation in PRISM: An Interdisciplinary Journal for Holocaust Educators

My translation of Leo Strauss's "The Village of As-Though" (which shared first place for the Willis Barnstone Translation Award a few years back) has been published in PRISM: An Interdisciplinary Journal for Holocaust Educators. I'm told that 40,000 Holocaust educators throughout the world read PRISM, so I'm quite glad that this particular poem has found this particular home. (Martin Rocek introduced me to the poem. Thanks, Martin.)

If Google doesn't fail me, you can read the translation (and the original German) here.

Very powerful truth/humor ratio. Congratulations on reaching such an ideal audience for it.

What a meaningful publication! I’m glad this found its wider reach. A disarming poem.
