Cannot post my own work
Hi everyone,
I want to post my poetry for feedback in some of the forums, but it doesn't allow me to do so when I click on "new thread". Last week, I messaged a few administrators to inform them that I have fulfilled the required criteria of providing feedback on 15 poems, as well as being a member of the forum for more than a week (in order to be allowed to post my own work). I haven't received any reply. Maybe someone here knows another way to go about it. It would be very much appreciated. Thanks very much. Trevor |
Hi Trevor,
Have you messaged Jayne Osborn? She's the one who can flick the switch. Matt |
Thanks, Matt. I just messaged her. I also don't get any email notifications (I've set it to instant notifications) even for new posts in threads I'm subscribed to.
I mentioned that to her too. Thanks again, Matt. Trevor |
I don't think anyone gets thread notifications. I don't. In fact, the last time I got a notification on a subscribed thread was December 2018! I get notifications of PMs and nothing else.

Hi Trevor,
Welcome to Eratosphere! I've sent you a Private Message. You're good to go. :) Jayne |

Back when the notification function still worked, one poor soul started a General Talk thread titled "Middle-East Conflict" during the post-9/11 War in Iraq.
He repented 582 posts (and thus 582 email notifications) later. See his cri de cœur at https://www.ablemuse.com/erato/showp...&postcount=584 |
