Sphereans in Snakeskin

(Sounds like a biker gang, doesn't it?)

Recently-active members Susan McLean, David Callin, George Simmers (translating Catullus), and I have work in Snakeskin 329 — June 2025. Less-recently active members John Isbell, Julia Griffin, and Felicity Teague do, too. Come on over and check us out, plus others whose work you might enjoy.

Seventeen Spherians in LUPO's 70th

Seventeen Spherians in LUPO’s 70th.

June 2025 sees LUPO hitting its 70th issue with seventeen Spherians treading its boards, that is to say Melissa Balmain Jerome Betts, Terese Coe, Max Gutmann, Susan McLean, Chris O’ Carroll, Martin Parker, Alex Steelsmith and Gail White, accompanied by new members Marshall Begel, Bruce Bennett, Dan Campion, Janice Canerdy, Daniel Galef, Julia Griffin, Steven Kent and Bruce McGuffin.

Among their subjects are New York’s Underground, the perils of unwashed fruit, a dog chaperone, a museum disaster, spelling, the trials of summer, an Australian leech, urban foxes, cuckoos, sushi, the climate crisis and much else besides, as well as the varied offerings of non-spherical and new contributors.

Shome mishtake

Sorry, Julie. Have somehow hijacked your Snakeskin thread and can't make edit or delete work. Have PMd Jayne to sort it out.

Incientally in your thread that must be Julia Griffin, not Julia Griffith?

Julie Steiner 06-01-2025 11:31 PM

Arghhh, yes, thanks for the correction of Julia Griffin's name, Jerome. I mentioned M.A. Griffiths in another context today, and it clearly messed with my fragile mental wiring.

Hi Julie and Jerome, I think I've sorted the problem on the LUPO thread. I'm away from home at the moment and admin stuff is more tricky using my phone rather than my laptop. I just wrote you a long PM, Jerome, then lost it. As it's 1.40am now, I haven't got the heart to rewrite it! I'll message you again tomorrow.

Jayne
