(In the thread on the New Formalist I said that despite any disagreements we might have, Leo was the best webmaster in online publishing.
I was referring exclusively to poetry ezines.) The very best webmaster is our own Peter Bloxsom! His sensitive and imaginative eye made me the website of my dreams. He keeps his light under a bushel and immediately after I had posted the other message I realised that I had inadvertently maligned a modest and extremely accomplished web designer. My website designed by Peter and links to others I apologise for seeming to advertise myself but I couldn't think of any other way to make amends to Peter. I think he may still be available as a web designer if any of you have wanted your own Home Page. __________________________________ And then there's the wonderful C Sharpe of Folly I should talk less! I would like to second Janet's round of applause for Peter Bloxom (Peter JB) and his web design skills.
Peter designed and maintained a beautiful site for me, and the fact that I no longer have the site has nothing to do with Peter. I won't even try and explain why I chose not to continue with the site, because some of the reasons are still obscure to me. But I wanted to say that if I ever decide to get a poetry site going again, I would go straight to Peter. He is a dead-set rip-snorter web-site designer, and a poet and a gentleman to boot. Thanks, Peter! |
