The country's snappy beans and peas learned early on: good soup don't grow on trees. You need to put a lot of prime assortment in the cooking pot. The best ragout has got a bushel of tomatoes, bright and juicefull. (Who coulda guess the fate a that prized Palin tomata.) Well, some people thought us corny but what we wuz, wuz pretty horny for some good old country fare. A feller can't subsist on bullshit and hot air. And neither can a gal. So there. |
