Rhina's new book

I've just read and written a short review of Rhina Espaillat's new poetry collection Her Place in These Designs. It's a wonderful book and I strongly recommend that everyone read it. More importantly, after seeing its sales rank at Amazon, I urge you all to go out and buy the book. One of America's finest poets deserves more readers and book sales for a book as good as this.

Let's watch that sales rank on Amazon soar as Eratosphereans rally to the banner of Rhina!

Delighted to hear it.
I've ordered it from Amazon UK.

Good idea, Paul.
I've said before that if all the Spherians bought each other's books,
poetry would be one of Amazon's best sellers.

PS: Is that a sculpture by Alfred on the cover?

Yes, Gail, it is.

I have just fnished reading Rhina's book and I fully agree with Paul. What a treasure! Paul, I look forward to reading your review, too.

Way to go, Sphereans. Rhina's sales rank for her new book just jumped up over 700,000 spots on Amazon from its position this morning. Keep up the good work

out of stock

I tried to buy Rhina's book from Amazon and was informed it's out of stock! Obviously, all the copies Amazon had of it have been sold, which is good news. Congrats, Rhina.

--Not such good news. The publisher has a duty to make adequate stocks available, among other things. Piss-ups and breweries come to mind.
By the way, David, there are copies available, if you check the Amazon site, from their associated sellers.

It's a wonderful book, probably Rhina's best. Of course the problem with being Rhina is we expect her to get better.

Not to be a broken record about this, but Amazon generally runs out of stock with in-print books with independent publishers with some frequency. Order from the publisher or through a more indie-friendly place!
