C'est finis. Although I think some of the most interesting insights arose in the last day or so -- particularly Eva's detailed breakdown of a slough of recent anthologies.
It certainly has me thinking about the situation in a different way.
I firmly believe that things have gotten a
lot better in recent years, and that the gender gap is now a crevice more than a chasm, but there is still work to be done...and I just hope that people choose to do that work with equanimity, rather than attempt to "turn the tables", as it were.
This has been a great thread, and one well worth having. Hopefully the topic arises again in the not-too-distant future.
P.S.: Janice -- 27 pages? The way *I* have my page display set, that means we have another 20 pages to go. Game on!
