Cheers folks-while you're blowing my trumpet, I should say that I've won one of the prizes in the Smith/Doorstep Poetry Award and as a result a sexy wee collection called 'After the Storm' is being launched on May 19th with spontaneous outbursts of joy, free drink and belly dancers. And I'm courting immortality by having two poems included in the Edinburgh University Press' anthology of 'Twentieth Century Scottish Poetry'.
Rare, eh? Still poor as a church mouse, though. And Scotland's still rubbish at football.
