Well, it was quite a scene. They actually knew who I was, which is a pretty strange experience in itself!
But no stranger than what we saw onstage: an inflatable chicken, fake beards, electronic pianos. Egyptian headdresses. It was James' favorite reading so far. Except for the unusual French people, at whom James blew loud raspberries. But so did everyone else!
Quincy showed up, and Nemo too. It was great to finally meet them. The emcee even called out Kate. What an evening... and, of course, it ended in drunkenness and death by chocolate!
