'Sphere hacked down. Now back up
Dear Eratosphereans,
The server just brought down by a denial of service attack. It's been over a year since the last successful breach, so there was always a chance of this sooner or latter in the cat-and-mouse game between hackers and the server firewall that I keep hardening to keep them out. But at least, the server defenses I've put in place ensured no damage was done and, the downtime was minimal. The source is yet to be determined. Though it took some doing to block out the evildoers, we're back up now, and hopefully, it will stay so for a long time!
