I just received an acceptance from Modern Haiku. It is probably my most prestigious acceptance so far, and my smallest contribution -- six words. Anyway, those who participated in the Master Class with Lee Gurga will appreciate this: MH editor Charles Trumbull, who judged our little contest, assured me that the batch I submitted was "more palatable than a turd!" Good news.
Also, with the acceptance came my cash payment -- a crisp one dollar bill. Sweeeeet!
