The reading went very well. It started a bit late, which I was told is standard in Greece, and there was a good audience (I would estimate around twenty or more) in a room that was an appropriate size for the group. We each read for about twenty minutes, starting with Alicia Cohen, who writes free verse, and ending with Alicia Stallings, who read a number of new poems I had not heard before. The audience was attentive and receptive, and there was a wine and snacks reception in the courtyard afterwards. It was a lovely warm evening. After that, six of us, including all three readers and spouses/partners, went out to a nearby taverna and had a delightful assortment of small dishes, with wine. I think all of us were pleased with the way it went.
