Apologies for being so non-responsive on this thread, but I've been devoting all of my spare time to offing an additional 2000 citizens, so that Dan would not be accused of inaccuracy. (The unpublicized and unrecognized shit I do for some of you people - generally without thanks - would be discouraging if it wasn't for the fact that I welcome criticism, even unfair criticism from nasty old Alan Sullivan, because that's why I'm here; and I would never dream of whining about the graceless and almost insulting lack of appreciation.)
The problem is that, because that's the kind of guy I am, I've decided to level the playing field, so to speak, by focusing on potential voters who support the Administration's actions (any Administration and any action will generally do, but this time it's the Bush Administration and Iraq.) And it is almost impossible to find those individuals here in the Northeast. I gather there were some, but they've bundled into cammies, strapped on their weapons, coalesced into great, belching Winnebago caravans, redolent with the fumes of gun oil and beer, and headed for Arizona to defend our borders. So it's been tough slogging, and I may soon return to sonnetry. Or falconry. Possibly bestiality. But something challenging.
