And thanks for the kind silence of those of you whose entries were not finalists because I misconstrued them. (Generally when poets don't make a judge's final cut, they are left to suspect that the judge was daft, prejudiced, incompetent, overly literal, etc.; I, however, sent out nice, solid evidence of this.)
