Williamb I didn't drive until I was forty and I don't now that I am sixty-nine. It was nice when I did I must say. We have free buses for old persons. Jolly good. It takes a long time though. Cars are better.
Ah! I knew it was one of the Amises. When I typed Martin Amiss* I felt something was amiss, since I only read about a third of one of his novels. I remember a fart joke too? It was one of those rare, genuinely funny fart jokes.

If I had a missus I'd tell her about my Amis miss.
