Marriage Equality is a
major civil rights victory. I couldn't be more overjoyed and more proud of my people, who have fought for our rights for a long time. I'm actually surprised at how free and joyful I feel. The more I think about how much suffering this victory will alleviate, the happier I feel. The more I think about the bravery and persistence of my people who have fought for our right to be treated as equal citizens, the prouder I feel.
