In all fairness, Anna, I believe Sam simply wanted Sphere members to be reminded of the dates (how many other Sphere posters keep bumping up,
for example, the dates of their upcoming readings/launches
?) and also to let Sphere members know that the WCU Poetry Conference website (which we all know leaves a lot to be desired at the moment) will, in fact, be updated soon.
I attended the inaugural PBTS conference in May. It was great. What happened to Kim was terrible. But IMHO we should keep an open mind about WCU and see what they have to offer as well. If I had the $ I'd attend them all, including Writing the Rockies!
