Another benefit of the exercise is a reminder that I have yet to urge the bishops to 'Open Ann Drysdale's Box' with its stash of copies for sale, but good to see Real Newport on the list, which I do possess.
This is a guide to an untouristic town like no other, so entertainingly
written it makes a wonderful bedside book, even if Newport has changed a bit in ten years and I've never left the three platform station.
More to the Spherean point, it also contains twenty-five quirky A.D. poems at relevant points in the narrative, a delightful bonus.
