Allen, I do beg your pardon most abjectly and shall immediately correct my mistake. Jonas is a new moniker, and quite a clever one as I often feel I've been swallowed by a whale. Usually, and often, I am addressed as Janet, sometimes Janis. I long ago gave up the battle. I grin and bear it.

I also must beg your pardon for forgetting your request. I'm not often on the net these days and it totally slipped my slippery mind. I'll go back and check what I promised and see if I can keep it.

Can I blame my thoughtless misspelling on our brief Swedish summer when the weeds and grass grow taller than my house. At least it seems that way when I toil with the yard work (I am indoors only to rest and change to something cooler than a sweatshirt).

And summer is a time when friends visit weekly from more urban areas. But not to complain, it would be far worse to have no lawn, and no fall fruit dropping cluttering the lawn and no sweet smelling flower beds to weed and no friends whatsoever.

As for posting poems, I have quit writing.
