I think the US has made an effort to reduce its military budget these last 8 years or so. And it is trying to relinquish its so-called ‘world-policeman’ moniker. The goal, I presume, is to leave more of that static pie for real civilized things, like Social Security. But there are always consequences with change. And it seems (no matter what) my country is to get the blame.
It also seems that the government of Sweden is confiscating homes so as to accommodate the surge of refugees there. Could it be that the good citizens and businesses of Sweden are slacking on their tax responsibilities? Sweden immigration says--“The system cannot cope.” Not to worry, plan B is to confiscate valuables from the refugees themselves in order to pay for the rent.
