Hi Folks--
David Callin tipped me off to this cool project on the Isle of Man (
http://www.culturevannin.im/poetry_m...l#poetry_map): an interactive map of the island, with "pins" linked to poems about those places. Now two poems of mine can be found there, along with several of David's.
I post about it here for a couple of reasons:
1) So that you can be suitably impressed by the breathtaking majesty of the accomplishments of members Callin and Hunt;
2) Because some of you (Jayne?) might wish to search your cupboards for Manx-themed poems you might send off for this unorthodox "publication opportunity." (By the way, David lives on the island, and I have a family history riddled with Manxness...)
3) Because I think some of you might just appreciate this as a worthy civic project, combining technology, poetry, and ecological awareness.
