Default Free Zoom Sing August 30, 2-4 PDT

Please share with anyone you know who may be experiencing choral performance deprivation syndrome due to coronavirus restrictions.

The San Diego Master Chorale plans to present Morten Lauridsen's gorgeous "Lux Aeterna" as a virtual (Zoom) sing-along on Sunday, August 30, 2020, 2-4pm Pacific Daylight Time.

Lauridsen is probably the most frequently performed (living) American choral composer. His "O Nata Lux," often performed in Christmas progams, is part of this "Lux Aeterna" sequence. Lauridsen was composer-in-residence for the Los Angeles Master Chorale for many years, and a professor of composition at the University of Southern California.

This event is free, but pre-registration is required. Your mic and video will be off, but the score will scroll by and Music Director John Russell will be directing you while you hear a recording of a past SD Master Chorale performance.
