In all the years I have been popping up in Snakeskin, this has only ever happened to me three times: once in response to a poem about a tumulus, once in response to my poem in praise, or at least defence, of Nahum Tate (previously shared here, according to my admittedly patchy records), and again just now, in response to this one.

Which was nice.
In an odd and unexpected confirmation of the above, D A Prince - about whom I originally made the same mistake as Julie did about A E Stallings, when I first contacted her - has contacted me with something nice to say about the poem. And, as she is a very good poet, this has bucked me up no end, as well as validating George's modus operandi.
