Sorrowful eyes.
A heart longing for an italian mountain.
A village of mandolin and painting
a horizon of feathered gold.
At night she dreams of the beautiful one.
But he fades. She wakes.
A life diminished
by the sea that cannot break free.
It's tide husked by the moon.
Swelling, only to recede.
Her love contained.
