So the octave sounds to me like convoluted therapy speech filtered through some kind of complaint, and right now I don't feel that there would be much reward in trying to parse it (sure I can parse unending complexities, but I sense the complexities here are less conceptual and more... trying to fit a prose square in a round shaped sonnet hole).
The sestet sounds similar except the dramatic need to turn the sonnet and bring it to a close has you straightening out the grammar, so at least one has to work less to grasp what is actually being communicated apart from some kind of complaint relative to the act of being a parent and an attempt to justify such emotionally/intellectually.
