I just did a spot check and it seems that Eratosphere remains on Google. I checked a few poems from the Deep End that were just posted in the last few days or so, and, sure enough, they popped right up in Google when I put in a few distinctive phrases from them.

Can this be prevented? I have some children's poetry that I would like to post, but many children's book editors are very, very sensitive about "prior publication," and some of them regard anything that can be found in Google as "prior publiciation" that can disqualify your work from further consideration.

Apart from that, I also think it's simply a matter of privacy. I know this is a public forum, but it would be nice if only members of the public who actually seek a poetry workshop ended up finding us, rather than just anyone.
