Much of the anti-pornography movement is indeed politicised and hysterical, distracting and dubious. It will be observed, however, that if one moves beyond the framing of the issue as conservative versus liberal and other noise, that scientific studies on the effects of pornography on the brain yield genuine cause for concern.
