The Blame Game
The Blame Game
I looked for tame dictators and I found them,
to steal the Oval Office. I did not
need to look hard. But I don’t work around them,
I baldly do their bidding. That’s my lot.
On the world stage, our role is sycophantic
and mean. And don’t expect to blush with shame,
to see your Noble Leader’s latest antic;
you’re not a blushing nation. Say the game
is not what you expected in the end,
that you miss Hillary. And that may be;
perhaps you plumped for her. But don’t pretend
your hands are clean. You’re all in this with me.
