Thanks, Erik. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Each October they have a Halloween haiku contest. I understand they had over 300 submissions this time, so I was pleased to see my poem printed on the page.

Another poem of mine appears in their 20th Annual Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) Poetry Issue. (I might have announced it last April.)

A few weeks ago a poem of mine placed in the top ten in their 2018 contest. There were almost 800 poems entered, so that was another nice surprise. I got to read my piece on their podcast. My terrier began to bark as soon as I started talking on the phone, so I said “Hold on a minute,” which isn’t good to do on the radio! But I got him settled down, then read it without a hitch.
