And incidentally, I have the best credentials for sorting out sentiment (or is it sentimentality?) having spent forty-one years as a writer for Hallmark Cards. One possibility: every greeting card message--EVERY message--must end on an upbeat note--relentless optimism, hope, convincing sincerity--and as often as not, the word you. It's a craft and a skill that doesn't obviate poetic discernment.
I'm not sure what that category means at BTS.
