Hi Duncan,

I read “Dolan’s Cadillac” a few years ago and loved it. It’s an engrossing and clever tale. I just read “The Cask of Amontillado” and enjoyed it, too. I can see how Poe influenced Stephen King. I’m going to read your whole essay in a bit.

There is another King work that took off form Robert Browning’s “Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came.” Kings series of novels is called simply The Dark Tower.
