Thanks for the links, Chris and Gregory. The article made me chuckle; there are some wonderful words in various dialects, though I'm from the West Midlands and I've never heard the word “bobowler” for a large moth.
I especially like ''a bit on the huh'', for something that's lop-sided. (Might have to pinch that one!
