I think these are wonderful, Ned, as you know. Alternately melancholy, lilting, biting and hopeful. A cross between Lambchop, Sparklehorse and The Magnetic Fields with a dash of Dylan and The Band. And in the true spirit of the protest song, incredibly up to date lyrically. Like, literally ripped from today's headlines. Very, very impressive and cool!
Edit: melding Clarence Ashley's "The coo coo bird" with the Capitol riots is some sort of genius.
