If anyone knows any 16th century French scholars... "Blood line"' is all I can come up with and I'm having a devil of a time fitting that in. I do know La Ceppede was connected with a Carmelite monastery in Aix-en-Provence so Susan's "white" suggestion may bear fruit. Also, Adam, I think you grasp just how OTT these 16th century French Catholics could go in their devotional practices so I'll be looking for more insights from your corner. But it's grades time, so I'm super busy, but a revision is on its way. Fear not.
