I've carped a lot here about the Democratic establishment, and I grumbled about Biden emerging as the candidate from a 2020 field that probably included 20 people I would have preferred, so I want to say that so far he's doing a great job. I'm particularly pleased that his unity talk hasn't led him to give in to Republican obstruction. (And I'm recognizing how his being an old white guy is making it harder for Republicans to paint him as the problem, which makes me more forgiving of Obama's constant conciliation.) Perfect no, but strong.
