Default "Happy" in Measure

Hi folks,

My sonnet, "Happy", was published in Measure Review.

Don't know if this one came through here, but thanks as always.

Nicely turned, Rick. I like the Jefferson / medicine rhyme especially. That made me feel happy.

Terrific, Rick. And snappy-happy. Thanks for it.

Congrats, Rick!

And that's the best way to be happy, too, I think. You don't want to overdo it

Where's the "Like" button on this site? But now that I'm here, why no commas round "I insist"?

Congratulations, and what a lovely poem. I can imagine the coterie of intellectuals with their mouths all in tiny pursed 'o's and the sound of the Mariachi band in the background.

Rick, I enjoyed your poem. I played marimba and percussion in a Mariachi band for many years. What is happiness? Nobody knows! But there is such a thing as pleasure, however.

Thanks folks.

I kind of miss the hardcopy Measure, but one must roll with the times. The new editor is Ashley Anna McHugh. Do we know her?

Just saw this! Great poem, Rick ~ the usual polish & an urgent question offered with an idealist skeptic's wit & great images.
