Best wishes, dear Jayne.
(I thought Sarah-Jane would like this, too.)

Wow Julie! The animated scenes in the darkened woods are great! Yes, Sarah-Jane.
(Oh, and happy birthday once again, Jayne! According to the deer gif, you're thirty — if you count the candle obscured by the tree branch)

leaping in quickly as although I don't want to hijack Jayne's birthday thread, thank you Julie for sending Jayne such a lovely card. I love the way these are so subtly animated.
(Jayne's hat card was my first experiment with the rather gorgeous Adobe Animate, and the hat itself spent a bit of time deciding that it would unexpectedly fly in from the top left-hand corner, rather as it if was an actual magic hat, determinedly set for independent behaviour. I managed to restrain it in the end, but suspect I have a way to go before I master 'Animate' - but these are great examples of what works).
I hope your post-Birthday celebrations are as nice as the birthday ones, Jayne, and that you still have plenty of cake left : )

Oh wow! Sarah-Jane and Julie: thank you for posting the Hat of Happiness and the Deer gif. What lovely images!
Annie, John, Fliss, Mark and Jim: Thank you all, too, for your posts. (Jim... yes, I'm thirty ...well, in my head!)
Mignon: It's funny you should mention "seven days of celebration"; that's exactly what I've had and it's been a lot of fun.
Sarah-Jane: From two enormous birthday cakes we have two small pieces left. I've been dishing out cake to people all week!
I forgot to mention that I was driven to my birthday meal in a 1936 Morris 8, owned by a friend. What a treat that was. All along the route to the restaurant people were waving... I felt like Her Royal Highness

Thank you, John. I look after my 3 year-old grandson every Monday, and he thought it was still my birthday today because my cards are still on display; it has lasted over a week, making up for last year's total non-event, when all of us went through a long period without seeing our loved ones.
