John, writing many sonnets in strict IP taught me everything I know about meter and rhyme.

Thank you, Mary! You mentioned that some time ago and i paid inadequate attention to your point, not for the last time. I do think my ear is getting better by writing blank verse, but I'm not working on rhyme, and sonnets certainly focus attention on rhyme and meter both. I'll give serious thought to writing more IP sonnets. Lately I've been writing less though.
